Two Weeks Before Your Appointment:
Avoid Botox, fillers, facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser treatments.
One Week Before Your Appointment:
Refrain from heavy sun exposure, especially sunburn. Your skin should not be healing prior to the procedure.
Do not pluck, wax, thread, or receive any hair removal services, as this can trigger the skin's healing process.
Steer clear of supplements and medications that have blood-thinning effects.
Medications: Do not take warfarin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
48 Hours Before Your Appointment:
Avoid any NSAIDs such as Advil, Motrin, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Naproxen, Aspirin, or Niacin for at least two days prior. If you are on blood thinners, permanent makeup is contraindicated.
Additional Considerations:
Eyeliner: Do not wear contact lenses.
If you are on insulin, PMU treatments are not recommended.
Not recommended for individuals with serious health concerns, such as heart issues or those on heart medication.
Pregnant or nursing individuals should refrain from these treatments.
